10K? Thats a lowball savington... a 350hp turbocharged miata is more costly than that. **** im lucky enough to have had a 210hp automatic turbo miata, and that was a dynojet day with the local old fogies. I'd be lucky if I can build to that or even past that again starting from scratch again next year with my budget and plans

We need to setup a Loveline-esque thread (Call it Miata-line) where we'll have a team of MT vets answer random callers/posters. We could have guest appearances by different members & stuff.

It would be a great focal point for threads just like this.

git that ebay mani and boost that ****, you don't need a standalone. They are just jealous of your mad wrenching skills.

If you could, you wouldn't be asking the questions.

I don't know why you guys are acting like it's difficult to make 350hp. Drop this in and you're done, and barely over 6 grand:

NEW GM CRATE ENGINE LS3 430HP Gen 3/4 (LS1/LS2/LS3/LS6/LS7/L92/LSX) | eBay

OP, get junkyard motor, build diy turbo kit, buy ems, boost stock motor to 250whp or so, enjoy a fast car. This should only cost you between 2 and 4 grand. Now if you want 350whp, you better have some deep pockets. Lots of things fail over 250whp, read up.

A turbo miata, so easy a caveman could do it.. right guys?

OP should really not buy expensive ****, e-bay your way to 350hp, I see nice kits with bawler turbos on there these days to go there on stock injectors with a nice fpr, and very good quality east block engineering into that ss manifold, dont worry about ems..nice fpr should do the trick!

if BIG turbo no fit, PM good and learned member on here to borrow SAWWZZZAAAALLLL!
