Default Block to head oil supply restrictor question

So a while back, my instructor told me to take off every plug in my spare block including this restrictor(Circle in red in the Joe Perez's photo) in order to clean it properly. Is there a replacement for this part or was I not suppose to take it out? I tried searching but could not find any useful information about it. I would like to hear your thoughts and opinion, thanks!

should probably leave that one alone. the plugs on the side with allen keys, are easily removed and resealed.

Probably shouldn't have taken that out, if there isn't a way to get another one it may be possible to restrict the passage in the head, there are several ways of doing so.

You can tap the passage, take a set screw and drill the center of the set screw the same size as the original opening, maybe a tad larger.

You could also weld the head and drill the weld for the appropriate size.
