Second Tri-Annual MT.net at The Lake BBQ, Get Together, and Not-So-Creepy Sleepover 2013

Well, it's here! Many have asked about it, others have dreamed about it, and a few of you still probably have nightmares about it (sorry about that). We are having another gigantic barbecue, party, hang out, and not-so-creepy sleepover!

I'll provide the house, the boat, and some food and drinks. Georgia Power Company provides the lake. Somebody will bring a grill. Other people will bring food and drinks. And there will be lotion, lots of lotion. There will be barbecue, drinking, boat rides, tubing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, drowning, chilling on the deck, perhaps a bonfire, and socializing with other MT personalities you always wondered about!

Last time we had a great time with Miataturbo.net members from Kentucky, Virginia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia. Most of you are welcome! All MT.net regulars and lots of occasional visitors are welcome!

It will be the weekend of August 17-18.

There are a couple of beds and also plenty of floorspace for crashing. If you are afraid to sleep around us there are also a couple of hotels in the town nearby.

I might make it out. I'll have to see how things are going next month. Appreciate you opening your house to us again. Maybe everyone will try to behave and no one will gash their foot open and bleed all over your pier.

That sounds like a good time. I'll have to check the schedule and see if I can make that happen. I have never done a good ol' Southern "weekend at a lakehouse."

I will be utilizing a hotel, though.

Also, are there any women at this event?

 

There was a very lovely young lady at the last event. She had a very nice Miata as well.

 

Yes, women were at the last event and will be at this one, too. Don't be afraid to bring them. Most of us behaved as though we had seen a woman before.

 

Marked down on the calendar, definitely plan on making this one! The others always landed on planned vacations.
I will be bringing my wife, she doesn't have to work that weekend at this moment (damn nurse schedules).

 

I will be there for sure. Thats my last weekend of complete freedom before my last semester in the fall starts up. I may be bringing a lady.

 

Damn. I wish i knew a month sooner. I would of had my engine done quicker, it may even be done by then. But i'll be in the break in process.

 

Steve and I will be there! I sold my MSM last month though, so I guess we will have to settle with bringing the LS1 FD. :P

I'm excited. We had so much fun the last time.

 

No Miata? I'm sorry ma'am, but you just can't come if you don't have a Miata, hahaha!

It's great you guys will be able to get there. I would love to have an FD with a LS1. I have so much envy now.
