Default Brake 'click' then squeal when stopping

I'm experiencing a somewhat strange noise coming from my brakes. At least, I assume it is from the brakes. The car is street driven right now, no more autocrosses until next year.

The car is a '94. I purchased the car with about 125k miles on it, and it now has 145k miles on it. Around 130k miles, I replaced the brakes with Axxis Ultimate pads and also replaced the spreader springs. The rotors visually, and while driving, had no indication of uneven wear or warping, therefore I did not change them.

In general, I never hear noise from the brakes except minor squeals when it's colder in the morning. In the past few weeks, a new noise has appeared. When coming to a stop, I hear no noise while slowing down until about 20mph. Somewhere between 20mph and 0mph, the brakes will make a 'click' or 'pop' sound, immediately followed by brake/rotor squealing.

Any know this issue off the top of their heads?

Sounds like you need to lubricate the slider pins, or maybe a bad bushing.

Had the same noise. Lubing caliper pins fixed it. When I pulled one of the pins out it had a shiny spot where it had been getting worn down so I replaced all of them.
