Default NA PS pump with NB rack: pressure fitting difference.

Man, my google-fu is getting weak.

I've got an NA PS pump with the flare pressure side fitting. I am putting in a NB subframe and rack on the race car. The pressure side for the NB rack uses a banjo connector to the pump. I tried Mazda Comp. The fitting on the pump is not listed separate from the pump. None of my tap and die sets are large enough. Can I buy the PS pump banjo bolt and washers somewhere?

You may want to try an industrial hydraulics shop. I can't remember seeing the fittings sold separately like that from Mazda anyway. The other option that springs to mind is just buying a NB pump and lines from someone who hads done a depower. They seem to pop up in the classifieds from time to time for $40~50. Or just buy a used line and salvage the banjo.

Worst case you could buy a -AN banjo fitting (earls, goodridge, etc), cut and flare with new -AN nut and sleeve.

The banjo on the pump needs to be custom (at least for the NB pump, forget if the NA is the same). Use a stock line or make a custom piece. The NB rack side is a M14x1 banjo connection. The threads between the flares and the banjos are the same. Look inside the rack to see if it has the tapered seat, the NA line might thread in and seal.

For the LP on the rack its an M16x1.5 inverted flare, like a brake line but way bigger, that flare nut I cannot find of the life of me, no hydraulic shop had it couldnt find it on the internet. The mazda pre-made tube for it is cheap enough.

I have a bunch of PS plumbing that came of a NB subframe, that I striped. I have the pump and all the plumbing, (I think, might have thrown the hose away) and converted the rack to manual.

Tell me what you need exactly, if I have it, it's yours, just cover shipping.
