01 motor in 92 miata - Help with wiring MS3X

Default 01 motor in 92 miata - Help with wiring MS3X

Need some help getting my new car running.

This is a 92 miata with 01 engine. I was told it was setup running a Megasquirt PNP and VVTuner (both uninstalled before I got the car) and before that was running with a miatalink ECU. I would like to get it running with MS3X. The ECU side wiring looks to be Stock 90-93 (But I will need to verify) plus an additional connector for the VVTuner right now. (The wires to the VVTuner connector are labeled)
I was hoping to follow westfieldmx5's guide but I am not sure what to follow where the 90 and 01+ differ in the instructions. Or what wires I need to move from the VVTuner connecter to connect to the MS3X.

My thought was run the 96-00 connector (92 car) and use the extra pins in there for VVT and whatever else I need to add for the 01 engine?
Questions (mostly stupid I am sure)
1. How do I tell if I have the 99+ alternator or the 94-97 installed?
2. COP's - They are installed but is there anything I need to know or should check on them to make sure they are correct?

edit: i cant read.

you have to wire the ms3x like a 90 install and figure out how to run all the extras you need.

I now want to get it running with just MS3X.

This is exactly what I did. Ran extra wires for sequential injection (2 extra wires) and VVT (1 wire, use the +12V from the injector harness for the other side of the VVT connector).

Thanks guys. I'm going to try to finish building it this weekend and see how it goes.
