Unhappy Ecu not running properly

Ive got a second hand emanage blue for my 1992 eunos, which was previously in a Mk2.5 mx5. I'm trying to get it running but its seems to have a rev limit of 2500rpm and its bouncing at that limit, if i take my foot off the throttle, it stalls. all the jumpers are set to standard and the settings are at 3-A-C and its got the flappy Vane Air flow sensor, i did also get a boost sensor, which i haven't connected yet.

any help would be much appreciated, thank you very much

have you got the dip switches set inside the unit? have you made sure that they havent soldered in the 1K resisitor on the airflow input wire inside the EM that is required for NB cars? have you datalogged the car while running to check what input voltages you are getting from things like afm? oh by the way you cannot connect up the TPS wire as the 1600 does not have a variable TPS. my car is tuned solely via map/rpm
