Twincharged thread (B6 haters aware!!)
A friend of mine was twincharging his miata with... guess what?
hot side mp62 (slk 200) and a GT30 dual bb turbo
long runner manifold (40mm ID), straight 3" exhaust without silencer and cat, and aem full standalone with his own wiring, sequential cops (bmw M3 probably) and electric power steering (a/c and p/s removed).
Now it's at (excluding wiring) the final stage, I'm uber-excited!
It will be an instaboost running probably allofit at around 2.6 bar peak
Well, this is the target.
Of course, built bottom end: wossner pistons +1mm, eagle rods whith arp bolts, arp head studs, lightened crankshaft and balanced with light flywheel, ported and polished head and tomei camshafts.
It will eventually run a custom intake manifold. The first idea was to run itb's, but he will decide after the first tuning.

It's a work in progress, but the mains are done (manifold, compressor brakets, even the breack in was done while n/a

Yes, the sc in in the same location of the stock a/c compressor
The power goal is 300-ish rwhp with 18 psi I bet.
He want to run allofit with a button (famous allofit switch) but as a daily it will be mostly 18 psi, maybe something less.
6 speed transmission and 3.636 torsen.
Everything will be nicely shielded, even the turbine housing

Wow, why go with all that complex setup for 300hp? When you can run high comp pistons a small efr on e85 and have very similar botom end torque and hp? Do you really need 300 ft lbs of torque at 2k rpm?
You can only put so much torque on the 6 speed trany before it breaks 😕

OP- How will it be plumbed? Compounded? How will the intercooling be done?

well he said he's gonna also run ALLOFIT, so not just 300whp.
But I agree, the priorities on this seem funny: he's building an insane manifold and will need to do all sorts of crazy plumbing, yet using a B6. He's going to do a ton of heat shielding, yet using a stock junky radiator. Just seems like he has ADHD

Still I wish the OP luck. If he gets the charge cooling right and compounds it, this could be fun. I'd worry about cooking that SC though. I literally just mailed my whipple to be repaired (likely cause of failure being too much heat) so if he's going to shield the blower, well, it's going to be a pain/require a lot of shielding, more than you might think. I'm actually installing a duct to get cool air to the SC on my setup as well as the SC temps were too high even at cruise.
I guess a good question is, what is this being built for? DD reliable? Race car only? I always assume DD reliable as that's always been my goal for my miata.

Hi everybody! I'm DNA54 friend! sorry for my bad speaking, my english is very rusty!
Yes, I know, this project is so folish and crazy, and it has 99,9% of possibilities to fail.
but I like challenges and to do somethings not so simple or already see on this car. I'm tryng to reevocate an old italian exotic car, the Lancia Delta s4. I hope I will success
this is the scheme we are trying to emulate:
