Default MSM Block ACL Thust Bearing?

I ordered a full set of STD ACL race bearings for my MSM block including ACL race bearings because I was blindly following MSM=BP4W. Now that I search I only see people running OEM bearings with them.

And I just checked at the bearings that came out of the engine and are the thicker looking 01+ VVT thrust bearings versus what I got are the thinner ACL thrust.

Am I right that I should be going with the OEM Mazda 01+ Thrust bearings for my engine?

And I think I've answered my own question that 01+ VVT and MSM blocks ONLY use the OEM mazda bigger thrust bearings

Yeap I'm pretty sure you're right, and as far as I know only mazda sells that thrust bearing, ACL didn't when I built my motor. OEM thrust bearings seem to work fine though.
