i have a 1990 miata and i am going to swap a 1996 1.8L engine into it. I will be running a 90-93 mspnp and i was wondering if i can keep the 1.8 tps and throttle body or would I have to get an adaptor plate and run my 1.6 tps and throttle body? thanks

 

Keep the 1.8 TB. Snip the electrical connections from a 1.8 harness for the TB and IAT and wire like so.

The IAT plug wires were the same colors in my experience.

That should do it.

 

After some garage testing today, I'm pretty sure the wiring order in that picture is incorrect.
