Default Reroute upper hose internal coil?

Gents,

I have a pipe clamp mounted where the charcoal canister was--adjacent to the #1 intake runner--holding the upper hose in place. It keeps the hose off the fuel lines. Do I still need to use that internal metal coil?

Thanks,

It's there to keep the hose from collapsing I'd still use it

It's been a long time since I've removed that spring. It was really crummy when I did. Never had my radiator hose collapse.

Can you show us your pipe clamp mount solution?

Sorry for the delayed response. Pretty simple. I cut down an L-bracket I already had on hand.
