Default Spark Plugs! Pics!

I decided it's time to change spark plugs on my '94 1.8l stockish, unboosted engine.Looks like last time I changed them, I used NGK BKR5EIX-11. From my records, I put them in in April 2013 and about 15-20k miles ago. I've been running on the same MSPNP1 hi-res tune for the whole period with only minor tweaks.

I replaced them with the good ole V-Power BKR5E-11 and a new set of NGK wires. I'm not sure it's necessary at all to change out the iridium tip plugs, but honestly it's been so long since I've 'modified' anything on the car that I just needed to do something.

Anywho, how do the old ones look? Is it totally unnecessary to change them in 4yrs/15-20k miles?

The ceramic looks a little burned from what I can see next to your thumb, but otherwise those look fine.

Here's a pic of the other side. All of them are about the same:

I'd clean those off with a wire brush and reinstall.

Agreed. Those Iridium plugs are still good to go.
