Default Wideband and MS2 Reading Different AFRs?

hey all

I just finally got my MS2 installed on my 95 Miata, i was playing with it in tunerstudio to learn to tune and i noticed that the AFR on my wideband is different from the AFR displayed in Tunerstudio(10.8 on windeband and 12ish on tunerstudio). has anyone encountered this before? im running a bran new innovate mtx l plus, MS2PNP, and the GM AIT. other then that the car is currently stock. I'm just trying to figure out the MS before I order a turbo.

second question, All the research and videos ive watched have been on a 1.6. I noticed on the 1.8 i have tube comming off the intake just before the throttle body, going into what looks like a valve or sensor.(in pic below) my question is what is it? what issues will i encounter when i turbo? can i delete it or do i have to add a bung to the intake tubing to keep it?

thanks

Is the Wideband grounded at the same spot as the ECU? Grounding offsets are often the cause of mismatched signals. First step is to try to get a clean ground, then next step is to recalibrate the sensor in TunerStudio to account for the grounding offset.

That's the idle air control valve. Put a bung on the turbo piping.

Thanks!!! The wideband is grounded off the engine ground beside the intake manifold, which from what i remember reading was recommend, now, i did share the ground with the boost gauge, would the cause any issues? as for the ECU, its using whatever ground is in the factory wiring.. i will have to find a wiring diagram to find out for sure where its grounded to.
