Default Rear brake pad suggestions?

My 1994 Miata is an endurance racer and after trying many different pads we’ve been using StopTech pads, which last one day and are good enough. I’ve now upgraded to the Sport brakes in the front and trying Porterfield R4E for the first time. The rear brakes are stock. I’m thinking I could run a slightly stickier pad in the rear now.

The rears seem to last forever, I think I have 30 hours on them and they can do another race at least. I should probably install a prop valve, but in the meantime, wondering if there’s a good rear pad that would match well with the front Sport brakes and R4E.

I assume you are on 200tw in your endurance series?

i ran hawk htc30 front and rear with my sport brakes. They aren’t the highest torque, but pretty easy to modulate.

If stock pads are lasting 30 hours, they aren’t being used enough. What you really need is hat proportioning valve.
