Default let's see where you installed your Kill switch / pull cable

Just wondering what everyone is using for kill switch and whether or not running a separate cable also closer to driver? Pics of location setup/connections are welcome

One on center dash, the second (Daisy chain) on center of rear bulkhead, just behind hard top. For 2019, Supermiata is mandating a second or primary near the drivers A pillar. We reviewed current FIA standards for a reference point.

The logic is simple, if you are unconscious, car burning/smoking, corner worker wants to cut power, they are not reaching inside. External fire pulls already mandatory. Only logical to add external master power as well.

FIA standards are well thought out. Good place to start. US club racing reg in comparison, are 15 years behind current tech. You can still run an aluminum seat and no onboard system in a 400hp SCCA STU car as long as you have a bottle that doesn't even have to be reachable by the driver. No thanks.

We started with it on the tombstone, but there was too much clutter behind with all the wiring, that we moved it to the trans tunnel.

Is that pool noodle on the cage?
Is that an ignition key still in the circuit on a race car?
What are those pressure fittings on the trans tunnel?

Is this a track only car? Sounds stupid to ask but I've been tricked before.

Really Emilio is spot on with his planning. FIA regulations will be safety first so do close to that.
I love Vegas' trunk based switch. Its a very simple but sensible location.
The series approach ensures that come an incident at least one can be reached too.

Burning isn't fun. Having been the sole occupant of my house when it largely burned down I can guarantee the last thing you want is to have to remember what to do.
Big *** red switches everywhere WILL save you.

Primary is attached to a mounting plate off the main hoop, visible and just a few inches inside where the passenger window would be. I'll be adding a second one in series by the driver's pillar when I put the suppression system in.

What are those pressure fittings on the trans tunnel? That is the extinguisher line. One nozzle under the column, and one to the bay

Its a metal core, not sure what they insulate with.

Dekabon tubing is pretty standard in fire systems.
