Default How terrible are these Spark + AFR tables? ('92 N/A 1.6)

Hey there, I just recently got my car running & driving off the latest Speeduino basemap. Stock engine running the SpeedyEFI PNP kit with an AEM 30-0300 Wideband o2.

The car actually drives quite well after a few runs with VEAL, but I'm concerned about my spark table and AFR table. Spark I basically didn't touch off the base map, and the AFR I did modify
a decent bit. How terrible are these maps? I feel like the default spark table is quite advanced on the left half. If it matters, I'll be boosting in a few months to a target of around 8psi (keeping stock injectors at first). See below:

Thanks!

What fuel are you using?

At a glance they don't look horrible. First thing that jumps out to me is the spacing seems like it could be improved. You have a lot of resolution at high RPM (5500-7200), but make some large jumps in the areas where you'll probably be operating the most (assuming this is a street car). I'd get rid of the 500 RPM column and add more resolution in the 2500-4500 RPM range. Probably not as important for the AFR targets, but assuming your VE table is setup similarly it should help a lot for fueling.

I'd target 14.7 at idle if your injectors are happy with that.

Your AFR table could be leaned out in cruise as well. My guess is that you'll target low 14's cruising on the freeway. Personally I'd take everything below ~60 KPA from 2500-4500 RPM and target closer to 14.7 or a little leaner.

Take all that with a grain of salt. FWIW this is a link to my old Speeduino tune if you want to poke around and look at the tables. I am still learning, but my car was pretty happy running this. https://tunes.speeduino.com/#/t/Pl8M...g/afrTable1Tbl

Thanks for the reply & share, I'll definitely be giving your tune a lookover and see what I can take from it. My RPM ranges are definitely kind of weird, I was chasing an idle issue for a while that I think I've chalked up to a fuel delivery problem or minor vacuum leak.

Any thoughts on the ignition advance? I notice my table seems really advanced at the lower rpms compared to the table you shared + most I see online. I see some going as low as values of 2-5 on the upper left corners under 100kpa.

I just realized this is a 1.6. I'm not as familiar with them. Personally I'd probably pull a couple degrees from 3500-4700, 74-96 KPA, but you're probably alright if you're on 93. Again, take it with a grain of salt. Someone more qualified might chime in later and say something completely different.
