Default AFR and spark map thoughts

Hi everyone,

I'm running 1,6 '93 standard engine with a Begi S3 kit.(GT2560) The ecu is a MSPNP2 running batch fire with VTPS installed.
Currently the boost is limited to 180kpa because of the original rods.
After reading many articles on different forums, and spending hours and hours on reading and tuning, I need some opinions about my current tune.
Especially the AFR and spark table. (AFR table is changed, but autotune has not done his magic to the VE table, so AFR and VE do not match for now)

My goal is to have an engine that drives smooth and safe but also powerful without breaking it.This in combination with a decent fuel consumption.
The car feels like about 200HP, not dyno'd yet. But I think not all potential power is used for this setup.

PS: Brain, could you post your 1,6 '93 ignition and AFR map please? All I can find are old maps or little icons (deleted graphs)

Thanks!

look decent, still retard a lot of timing right away once you enter boost

Honestly I do not know how much spark I can add and stay out of detonation.
I think there's at least 15HP to gain in boost when the spark map is raised right there.

I don't have the guts to put them in and try it out on the road without det cans.
Also dyno would be great, but have to install the upgrade rods first.

Any proven tables for this engine setup would be useful.
I can use a little help here.

Thanks

Ok should be fine then.

Yesterday I checked my friend his settings and the spark map looks way more aggressive than what I use.

The car is dyno'd at 176HP @ 0,6bar... which seems great for this little amount of pressure. It's a '93 1,6 running batch fire MSPNP2 with VTPS and GM IAT
2,5DP and exhaust. it has a small Chinese turbo DH033J.
It' more agressive, spools faster and drives good in my opinion.

This is the spark map from the above described car. Is this still safe or is this dyno'd to the max?

Is there room for 2° more spark?

Should I advance my map a little more (2° to 3°)towards his settings or for safety just let the numbers as they are?
Should the few ° result in more horse power??

Thanks Brain!

Nobody cares.

I'm just learning and observing as being a noob.

That's why I'm glad to get your opinion. I don't need wild guesses from another noob, but advise from people who have experience and knowledge about all this.(like you)
