6 Rib Crank Pulley??
On a Kraftwerks Rotrex kit on my '90 1.6. I have been dealing with belt slippage. I currently have a Gates belt on that lasted a little longer than other belts but is starting to slip after only a couple months. My P/S and A/C is deleted, and my S/C, idle, and tensioner pulley are all good for up to an 8 rib belt. Is there a crank pulley that's available for 6-8 ribs? I was talking to a guy from Track Dog who said he was able to get me a link to a pulley for 6 ribs and told me if I were to replace my alternator with a 92-97 alternator as well as replace the water pump pulley for 92-97, I would be able to run this pulley. But I have a short nose crank and am preetty sure this won't work for me. Anyone able to pitch in? Thanks...
