Default Intercooling piping size for sc

So I'm replacing my rusty steel intercooler piping, which was 2.25"OD with aluminum piping, and I mistakenly ordered 2"OD. Would this be a restriction? I'm only shooting for 230-240whp for now, maybe 300whp someday. I've done some searching and understand the differences in math, but was more interested if this would make a real world difference.

technically 2" should be good all the way up to 400hp, assuming you don't have crazy bends or restrictions

2 is fine. Just don't make it look like a silly straw.

2" pipe is going to look really silly stepped up to the 2.75" inlets on my intercooler

All joking aside, would you guys also recommend 2" IC coldside to TB?

It depends on how you are routing it and such. If doing over the radiator then yes 2". If doing the standard around the side and up then you can get away with 2.25". The bigger the pipe just means more **** you can hit. When I turbo my NB in the spring I will be using 2" pipe everywhere.
