Hi Im jamie From alberta Canada I have a 1990 Miata That i have owned for a few year i have picked up a Kenne bell or maybe Corky Bell system with intercooler For what i hope is cheap. I have test fitted it on the car. MIssing few bolt but everything else is there Hose and line are old and crackes so will need to be changed. Few think do fit right, Otheres not so much only found one Pic when i google to show how it all is layed out. I have ms3x have some 550CC injectiors , Innovate wb. Kit came with bell tech fmu .

What looking to find out now it what are all the ports on the supercharger unit are for, 2 on the drviers side This look to be oil lines top supply and bottom drain and on top pasanger side would this just be a vent of vac/boost?
Also Dose the TB Have to be Moved to the back side of the SuperCharger Not a problem if it dose , I will be removing the MAF when i install MS with AIT.

Well, if nothing fits then it's definitely a Corky Bell system

Is this the s/c that was for sale on the Alberta miatas group? I was looking at it the other week. Interested to see how it goes!

Please don't spout speculation on this forum and masquerade it as a fact.

Not only do positive displacement blowers consume a huge amount of energy in a vacuum, they also generate a tremendous amount of heat in vacuum. They rely significantly on airflow to cool them and can be damaged due to overheating in a high vacuum environment. It is far easier on the blower to have unrestricted air flow into the blower and a blow off (preferred) or pop-off valve between the blower and the throttle body. And it will consume significantly less energy than exposing it to a high vacuum.

The blower pictured can consume 300 horsepower and generates vacuum approaching 27 in of Mercury but will be destroyed by heat if operated in a nearly zero airflow environment for a minute.

We're getting sick of your stupid useless posts Art. 99% of your post count is just dumb vague drivel. Go spread it elsewhere, not here.

The kenne bell was made for 99 to 2001 miatas. So 1.8 fitment as far as I know. If you have a 1.6, it likely isn’t a kenne bell.
