Default MSM Inlet Manifold

I have recently got a MazdaSpeed Miata in the UK. It has Error Code p2009 which my lookup says VTCS problems. All connections and wiring look to be OK. Now reading online threads, this seems to be a common failure of the butterfky flaps around 100k. My main question is whether a normally aspirated manifold will fit. If so, can I change the VTCS manifild for the VICS manifold. Plus how do I visually tell the difference. Any guidance to a new MSM owner would be much appreciated. Remember I am in the UK.

If you wanna stay away from codes, you can't use a Vics manifold. All 01-05 manifolds are the same, as long as they aren't a square top. Don't they just get carbon build up? If so I'd just clean it and see if it helps, I struggled with this code once, never did fix it.
