NC 2.5 swap plus Rotrex
This is an idea that a forum member and I have been discussing a lot lately. We are both aware that the existing kits do not fit without milling the front cover (or without spacing the mounting plate outwards), although MotoEast has claimed they have used a KW kit on a 2.5 before. Also there aren't a lot of data points out there for this particular combo, and we would both love to hear experiences before committing in such an exercise. Cheers!

There is a lot more info about this kind of thing at m.net. Dynotronics in Texas has a done a few, too. I personally drove the Dynotronics owner's personal car that had the Corten-Miller rotrex kit on it.

There is a 2.5 specific plate available now a la carte.

Interesting. KW or CM?

Sorry i had a brain fade moment. There's a 2.5 plate for the MP62 kits. I'm not positive on the Rotrex. Sorry for the confusion.

No probs! I am aware for that, but we are looking into Rotrexes specifically. Most probably gonna end up making something from scratch.

Did you get this working?
|
No, did not pursue that any further
