Was thinking about buying this car. Does anyone know what kind of supercharger this is as well as a guestimate on power

Thanks for the response. It's a salvage car. Total wreck. Trying to decide if there is enough there to be worth it. If I can buy it right there's probably another 7-800 in parts to sell that I won't use so we'll see. Problem is it's about 500 miles from my house so it's a drive and a tow or a shipping bill. Been trying to find a turbo car but this might work. I have a 91 that's in pretty good shape but 230k miles = a tired engine. Have a low mile 1.8 sitting on a stand but...

Had a miata for a long time and am looking for a donor car with a lot of goodies. This car caught my attention. It's at an auction pretty far from the house so I can't preview. Any clue from what you can see that might indicate what type of turbo setup is on this car. There is a logo on the heat cover that is largely blocked. Any info would help. The car also has a hardtop so if it's a decent setup might be worth the effort. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Pardon me? I admit my lack of knowledge in this area. I asked a legit question. I've started two threads trying to get info. Lighten up bro.

M45, also known as the JRSC. Guess is 140hp.

Also, WTF is up with that firewall bend on the passenger side?

To be correct, that is actually the Sebring kit, which pre-dates the JRSC and is less desirable due to the cone shaped snout pulley.

Yup, looks like an early jrsc (Eaton m45 based) kit running an adjustable fuel pressure regulator(mounted to passenger side firewall next to the huge bend.. Looks like that's an na6? If it has the stock crank pulley, youre looking at 6-7 psi and about 140whp.

Personal opinion.. sounds like the transplant would be a lot of work for a pretty limited (& possibly worn) system

The first has been covered, but the second car in the original post doesn't have a turbo on it, just a Track Dog heat shield over whatever exhaust manifold is installed
