I would take Hustler up on the auto driveshaft. I bought my 1.8 diff from him and he gave me that auto driveshaft ( Not knowing there was any difference) and it didn't work. I can't remember which one was shorter, and they have different splines too. Although I'm not sure what year car the driveshaft was out of.
