Default Advice for removing brake pad imprint

I run the FM LBBK Wilwood Powerlites on the front of my ND miata. I'm using G-loc GS1 pads on some 2 piece wilwood rotors. I managed to get a pad transfer mark on one rotor when I bedded them in last summer, which I didn't think was really a thing with the GS1 compound. But I can see it, and feel it when spinning the rotor by hand. It's noticeable when decelerating slowly on freeway off ramps, and annoying enough I want to fix it. This is something I don't have any experience doing. What's the easy button approach to removing a pad transfer mark given my setup?

Lightly sand it. Hold sanding block against rotor, spin by hand. I wouldn't use anything too aggressive, 360 grit or finer.

+1 for sanding. Id go as aggressive as 220, but i am impatient.

Finally tore into this. One rotor has .006" runout at the extreme outside edge of the friction ring and about .003" at the OD of the face of the hat. I dissambled & reassembled it, put it on another hub, and it's still there. So, bad hat I guess? I sanded down paint... still same. I'm not in love with the idea of buying a whole new rotor if the hat is the only bad part, but oh well.
