Aftermarket Rotors
I have a spare miata that I'm about to sell. It has drilled and slotted rotors on it.
I don't know what brand they are. I know some people have spoken of some slotted rotors warping.
I just daily drive, and was thinking of swapping them over to my car. What do you think?

All rotors warp w/ enough heat put to 'em and runout.
For a DD, don't worry and slap them on and forget about it.
Shouldn't have any issues.
I would tend to stay away from drilled rotors above all the others.
I think only issue really is that you can't turn slotted rotors, so it's a one time deal. Then get new discs.

That is what I was thinking. These are drilled and slotted as well.
This car was owned buy someone that had put money into it. Then a punk kid got it and flat blacked it with ground effects. I wounder if he bought china rotors.
If the rotors where put on before the kid, then they should be high quality.
They look cool.

Yea, I just hated to give up my factory's for a chance. But if they where to go bad. I'd just upgrade to 1.8L. Lol
I already have the back 1.8L, I just need the front mounts and rotors.
But for DD the fact 1.6L are sufficient for me. So I'm sure these drilled and slotted will be an improvement.
Thanks.

I had some cheap china drilled/slotted rotors for a while. (I was younger and stupider) Both the rear rotors cracked down the middle so I replaced them with stock rotors and haven't looked back since.

I guess I need to go home and look at them. If they are china brand, I'll just let them go as a bonus feature on the car.
What does Gary charge for the mounts and rotors? I haven't been there in a while.

I don't think they where the ebays when I looked at them. They looked of quality. That is a great running car, if this is the same guy I sold it to.
Pm me if you are.
I meant to take those off and put them on my car.
I just ran out of time. LOL
