Thumbs down Anyone Had Any Luck With amazon Hydros?

Amazon Amazon

Ordered this flaming pile of crap months ago. Finally installed the FM drift kit last week with the dual wilwood calipers. Plumbed the lines and bled them still not getting nice feed back and feel out this guy. Ill have the coin for a better one in a few months just seeing if anyone else here had had any experience with it, So far it feels just like mush and cant get any good pressure out of it, 100% no air in the lines had sucked fluid from the calipers to the top with vacuum before starting the bleeding.

My expectations were low but holy crap was this bad.

Maybe I need AC power for my application, I know cars usually run of DC voltage. Could try to up the voltage to get better response out of it.

From the listing:
• It can for drift car only, can't for original car.

Seems like that's going to be a problem in your application. It can't.

Buried in the description, it says it's a 3/4 master cylinder, but doesn't specify units. 3/4 of a spring roll?

Surprisingly quiet, for a hydro, at only 1DB.

Excellent purchase.

I'm running suicide brakes on my drift miata, only foot operated front brakes and hydro activated rear brake. I went with the Wilwood hydro off amazon though.

Well, the banana is the international standard unit of scale, and the ISO Standard Reference Banana has a major diameter of 39.72mm (source), so that'd put us in the neighborhood of 1.2 inches.

Rather on the large side for this application.

I guess I need to enlighten you guys again, just like the triple beam. Hydro is how you grow your pot if you don't want to deal with the guy who stole the triple beam from your local high school.
Obviously!

Here in my neighborhood, the local microbrew supplier is also a hydroponics supplier. Brew & Grow is the name. So their shop is an interesting mix of beer snobs and those with an interest in recreational horticulture. And, given that weed is legal in Illinois, they're not even evasive about it like you used to see in California, where this equipment was "intended" only for growing your own tomatoes indoors, and they'd have a whole rack of vegetable seeds there to prove it.

This thread made me become aware of the fact that FM actually sells a brake kit which is specifically intended to cause a decrease in vehicle stability and directional control. And that makes me a little bit sad.

I'm just disappointed they call it a "drift kit" rather than a "rally kit".

My grandfather wrote this. He was building greenhouses all over the world back then. As far as I know, none of them were for recreational use.

I wouldn't bother to follow him. He hasn't been able to write any new books for about 25 years now.
