BC Coilover, Might be buying used
Alright so this guy that Ive been talking to says that I can have the BC Racing coilovers for the miata for 600$ used of course. Was looking at reviews and stuff and what do you guys think of them for drifting anyway? I know a couple people that use them on the miata but im debating if I should go with these or go with the Stance ones another guy offered me for $850. Everyone says go stance and these BC's looks beat up not to mention that they are dirty as can be. Anyone have them that could give me a review on it or two?

Guy had them on his car for about a year. Took them off this August. Im not sure if worth buying either. For 600$ cant go wrong and still have enough money to buy something else like my exhaust or even my steering wheel and hub and ill be happy from there also. But I think I want to get the car painted before I start buying any interior parts. I think of it this way. Buy the most expensive stuff first and then the cheaper. I could always find the cheaper stuff at a swap meet or even a garage sale and craigslist also.

True, getting scammed and that other stuff. I told the guy I would think about it. Plus Enjuku is having their black friday sale so I might just order the stance coils while im at it and having brand new ones. Plus they have a gold top and stuff and if I get my roll bar for xmas that is going to get painted metallic gold, which I think would look badass with eggplant purple hahah

My $0.02:
* BC BR Series are a decent budget coilover, I have them on my car for this reason and they have a good reputation in Australia (many cars featured in our "Fast Fours and Rotaries" and "Hot 4's" magazines use them).
* At least with all that dust on them you can see that they don't appear to be leaking (and it's just dust) - if he cleaned them up you wouldn't know
* Unless he's been flogging the car across undulated/unsealed roads, a years worth of use aint too bad.
mgeoffriau, can you elaborate on your "I had those shoes, there were terrible." comment?

I owned a pair. They are not good shoes. They felt okay in the store. The first day I wore them, they wore raw spots into both of my heels. Additionally, they were very poorly ventilated...within a few hours my feet were roasting. I never wore them again. I've since moved on to lightweight and flexible shoes with wide toeboxes and minimal cushioning, and haven't regretted it once.
