I've never used one in a miata, but they do great in just about every other application I've ever seen, from S2000's to Mustangs, Mini's and the list goes on. They are really great for having nice pedal feel while not compromising clamping capacity. The only thing I would really recommend though is if you decide to go with the pucked disc, call them and have it changed to 10 pucks instead of 6. They will generally do it for free, and it just about eliminates the chatter problems that the 6 puck disc sometimes has.
