Cusco Used Coilovers (Comp-S) on NA Miata
Hi everyone!!
I just bought a KL-Miata 1994 as a Track project car.
Been tracking my Mazdaspeed6, but its just too big of a cow. **** is breaking left and right. Blown PTU, boiling power steering, overheating... bleh.
So, I just got this clean 94 and looking for quick suspension setup.
I live in Montreal where there are about 15 JDM import shops.
Found a set of Cusco Comp-S coilovers (see images bellow).
Guys asking 650$, but I'm sure I can get them for 450$.
No rust, no leaks or weeping. But as you see in the pics, 2-3 of the coilovers have bent rings. I figure its soft metal I can bend some of it back and grind some off too. I dont know... I'm kinda torn if its worth it.
Also, if anyone has run the Cusco Comp-S, can you give me your opinion of it?
Some DD, track is first consideration though.
Thanks.

The question here isn't "How can I fix these lock rings?" it's "How the hell did they get this damaged, and did the internals of the shocks survive the damage?" No one rebuilds Cuscos here in the states, and from a quick google search, people are saying the rebuild kits are about $300/shock.
Offer him $50 to get it out of his shop.
