Does anyone know about rx7 gearboxes?

Default Does anyone know about rx7 gearboxes?

I need to figure this out. Is the input shaft a different length on an rx7 transmission?

I want to say it sticks past the bell housing, while a 1.6l 5spd does not. I only know because I couldn't stand the t2 transmission on end due to shaft length, and the 5spd sits like that fine.

yeah, but the bellhousings are different. the miata one could just be longer.
