I bought my second set about May of 2012. They feel great on the track paired with 550/325 springs.

Around the time he was parting out. And about the same spring rates. Also set up for track. Glad you like them.
I'm still breaking mine in. Heard they get better after 1000 miles or so. |
Well after taking a bunch of measurements I have determined that I can use these shocks as the shaft was shortened enough to provide a usable range, the catch is I need to buy new perches and sleeves as the ones I have now are too short.
I will report back once I have the setup installed and see if the ride is better than the Koni SA I have now. |
My final update to this saga.
I finally got to install the revalved shocks and the fronts failed after 500km of use as the shaft started moving and made a horrible clunking sound. Thanks Bernie for the great product! :fawk: |

Give Bernie a call and ask him if he can send you out a replacement tomorrow.

But i thought he only raced on the weekends. Or wait tomorrow IS the weekend. Shit.

I wanted to go up on spring rates but I was way too afraid to send them back to Bernie after the first debacle I went through. I was referred to Kenny at Shock Repair, Rebuilt Shock Absorbers and Managed Racing Shocks for NASCAR Racing, Automotive, ATV and Motocross provided by Shock Specialist, Suspension Systems LLC, Huntersville, NC by Amelrotts and had him do my revalve. I've had them on my car for a couple months now and they are even better than they were from Bernie in the first place. The rebuild cost was very reasonable and only had a 10 day turnaround time.
