Yonaka NB coilovers in NA car
Is it possible to gain more suspension travel and firmer spring rates by putting in coilovers that were designed for NB into an NA car? I am thinking of the Yonaka brand specifically but the question applies to any brand.
FM lists the Vmaxx NA package as having NB top hats and necessary bits to get it to fit the NA
My suspension choices are coming down to the Vmaxx or Yonaka for mostly street and the occasional Autocross.

You can gain useful suspension travel simply by replacing the NA-style upper mount and bumpstop with either an NB-style unit or an aftermarket one and then changing or adjusting the springs to regain the lost static ride-height.
This is all independent of whatever spring rate you select. There's no rule which says that NBs (or cars with NB-style shocks and mounts) can or must use stiffer or different spring rates from cars with NA-style suspension.
