Default front bearing carrier
Are the front wheel bearing robust on theses little cars? The bearings look quite substantial. I dont know enough about these cars to know if its a weak component or not.

For the most part, yes. They don;t seem to fail very often at all. I know it's anecdotal evidence, but I've put nearly 200K on 2 different Miatas and never had to replace one, nor has anyone I personally know.

On street cars, they are fairly robust. On race cars, everyone I know carries spares.
