Any idea how hard it would be to make these work with an autopower bar?

could you take a picture of the mounts where the door bar would mount to? I think it would be pretty difficult because i dont have an autopower bar.

Yes I'm still making the bars, I can get a pair completed and shipped out this week if you want to buy them.

Does anyone have experience with these with roll down window? Does the door have to be opened to roll the window?

If the bars don't protrude into the doors then how can this be a problem?

I believe his question pertains to those who have to manually crank their windows.

I think he's asking about interference with the manual window cranks. The door bars clear the cranks just fine, gets a little close at the bottom but the doors do not need to be opened to open windows.

Ya that's what i meant. Sorry for being unclear, because there is a guy i met with hard dog door bar and he has to open the door to roll the window down and just wonder if this bar has the same issue.

Something about door bars... As far as engineering point of view, an object will behave the same if the 2 mounting points are the same. Meaning what happens in the middle doesn't matter as long as its the adequate strength. In other words, the door bars don't need to go that far to the dash before bending down, you can easily bend the door bars as soon as they clear the seat and do a diagonal straight down to the current mounting location.

That's an interesting point triple88a, I'll look into that when I'm working on the next set (hint hint). From a fabricating point of view, I think it would be more difficult to weld the bottom mount on if the tube is at the angle that the green line describes.

For everyone who subscribed to this thread interested in the next set of door bars, Im about to post up the new group buy thread.
