Unhappy Help Me Gayz!! My Shifter's Limp.

When I move my shifter towards the right (5th/Reverse), I get a nice, spring-centering action back to the 3rd/4th area. But when I move towards the left (1st/2nd), it just stays there.

Lifted the following out of the Mazda FSM:

I'm guessing spring set #2 might be broken? Or am I way off base?

Help!

I'm leaning towards set no.3 since the ball pivots to that side when going to 1st/2nd gear.

Yeah, Oscar has it right, and you are backwards.

BTW, you're really leaving yourself wide open with a thread title like that.

Sounds like it's time to upgrade to a titanium, quad return spring set-up, brah.

You can get the Chinese knock-offs from Fleabay for like 1/4 the price.. Claims they use chrome plated "tritadnium".

You need two of the big ones, but good luck finding them the week before race wars.
