HP/TQ Mazdaspeed Diff
I recently purchased a 2004 Mazdaspeed w/o engine or trans. This is my #5 NB and making it a comfortable cruiser. I have a LS V8 330/380tq. Will my Mazdaspeed Diff and axles survive? They appear quite a bit beafier than the regular NB diffs.

I haven't seen too many LS miatas trying to use the OEM diff. That said, the MSM axles are bigger and the torsen is known to hold up to ~400whp in street car applications. The torque behind that LS might eat it, especially if you wheel hop, though. Send it and let us know how it goes!

I broke 3 MSM axles with a 1.8L BP drag racing with drag radials with 350whp and with 400whp. Then I swapped to a built ford 8.8 axle with 900hp rated driveshaft shop axles and never broke one again.
For the street on street tires, the MSM parts took 500whp and never broke.
