Well, I used to drive an Integra, but certainly wasn't one of "those" Honda guys.

This is what happens when you put NB Bilstein HD assemblies with stock NB springs and mounts on an NA:

I had installed these quickly since I had sold the Konis that were on the car and was still waiting on decent springs. I could barely handle one day at that height, and had took the grinder to it. I drove it like that for two weeks. Good thing the setup had 54mm FCM bumpstops on it which both protected the shocks and made the ride at least bearable since I spent a LOT of time on the stops.

I hear you on progressive spring rates, but if you actually think about it, you are raising the initial spring rate by cutting the soft end, and by removing coils. I think this is why so many people get away with it. It's not quite enough spring rate to get away with the drop that most of the ricers do, but in my case I went down to about 1/2" of stock height, or about 1.5" from where I was.

It was surprisingly comfy, and more predictable at the limits than Koni Yellows with eBay springs at 12.5".

Don't you have newly purchased parts to sell somewhere?

At the time being, no. I had it on a previous motor, and am still not quite ready to run the nitrous on this motor. I want to put a good oil pump, rods and balancer in before I use it. I was going to go ahead and do it, but I was afraid that in the event of a rod breaking, it would destroy the cylinder head. The only real good parts I have in the bottom, are the pistons.

It could still go a little lower.

I gotta say, that's not a bad stance. Too bad it's not as fast as it looks.

I think it is kinda cool. Reminds me of the old drag cars that are sat up really really high.
