I know the vac source for the brake booster has a checkvalve, but it was never designed for a boosted enviroment (much like the PCV valve), so I'm unsure of it's capabilities.
Has anyone added a aftermarket 1 way check valve in-line with the vac source line, and if you did, was there any improvmenet in braking when immediatly transitioning from WOT to braking?
Any of the hardcore track guys have any issues/experiences with just the OEM checkvalve and nothing else?
Cheers

I have taken apart a check valve line from a BPT GTX designed for boost and one from a Miata, couldn’t tell a difference.
My brake vacuum lines are -8 push lock hose with a single OEM check valve removed from a stock hose pushed into it.

If I LFB too much, I run out of vac for the booster, and my VICS used to stop working too. I put a Mighty-Vac canister and check valve on the VICS, and it can operate about 5 times off that. I need to put a BIG can on the brake booster.
