Not worth it losing it. The only time its a draw on the engine is when its helping you out. I don't have an issue steering without P/S, but I'm pretty sure the better half would not be thrilled.

I drove for the first time today with a depowered rack. I can't say that I am happy. I think I will quickly get used to it, but the lightweight bitch feel of the powered rack was nice. I'll update after I get more seat time. I only drove for 30 min today. Half that was with no alignment. The other half was dealing with what could be a poor choice for alignment numbers (FM). I have rubbing issues :(
