I run factory MSM steins with eibach pro springs. Love them for the price but if I had the extra money laying around I'd go coilovers in a heart beat

Surprised these have not been mentioned yet. Only $1200 and they are much better than you might think.
Track Dampener Skeptical? See link below. #53 and #69 (me) are both using these. NARRA Online - North American Road Racing Assocation - Texas USTTC Results 2012 A 1:50.6 at Texas World Speedway is fast. Fastest time ever at TWS in a Miata as far as I know. It is not a smooth track so shock quality makes a difference. |
Those look like the same generic Chinese coil over has the megans, just a different color.

different color? you mean, no branding: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1360468958 |
Haha, even better. I thought the megans were black red and silver, but I guess they also come in blue.
|
Get the extreme vmaxx kit.
|
Don't know if they come from the same source as the Megans but these have custom valving.

I've run Racing Beat springs with Koni Yellows on both an NA and NB. They're great for street duty, but I'd like a set of stiffer coils like Xida or Flex for the track

HA! I did not catch that. I did not type that in of course, it came from the link, and is the same way on their web site. I should let Shandelle know about that.

Bumping a sort of old thread... Just ordered V-Maxx classic's. It's my first set of coilovers for any car I've ever owned, so hope it was a good decision.
|
They are a bit soft for my preference. They feel a tiny bit harder on turns than my sports package that came on my car however they feel about the same roughness on bumps.
|
The car will see the street 99% of the time. Only plan on an autocross or 2 occasionally, so I guess soft isn't a bad option for a street car.... I hope Lol

Moton.

Dang. I had to decide between tarbo and coilovers for the next few months (unless I can get my Trans Am sold) and went with the tarbo.
I've heard so many good things about Xidas. |
I have had the bilsteins w/ GC 450/350.. Too Bouncy for Streets.. but hugged corners exteremly well. Switch G/C with OBX coilovers felt better but still to bouncy... Switched the Bilsteins with AGX.. So combo im running now are AGX w/ OBX Coilovers and loved it ever since. My settings on the AGX are F-4 and R-5.

For me, it's only taken a few track days to remove them so I can put on something with more rate. I'll be ordering XIDA's soon. |

They will be fine for your use and a decent for the price.
