On 949's website it says that the new ones they've been improved.

From what I've read they were improved back around 1994, I'm not sure if they been improved on since then again or not.

 

That price is less than MMD by a buck or two a set but I'd rather order directly from Mazda to be sure to get the most current revision.

 

They were improved in 94ish. The cost increase now is because they dont have them as a complete set anymore and are making them up of the bolt washer and nut separately, which costs more.

I'm hoping to move away from them when I make my control arms. Adjust camber at the outer end of the lower control arm and adjust caster with the upper control arm. And adjust rear camber with the upper arm and rear toe with the lower arm. If I setup the arms right I'll be able to change any 1 parameter without effecting the others, unlike the stock setup.

 

$150 a set? They better align themselves for that price.

But just the bolt and nuts of decent grade are not free.
