It would be backwards. My rack is slow therefore I give more input for less steering angle.
You are the 2nd person to comment about how my rack looks slow, but I just cant see how it would actually be slow. Its just gearing.
Welp..... if your rack isn't broken/off you're putting too much steering angle which will induce understeer
I run the 1.125" RB on soft up front, 14mm rear(MSM single setting), it's pretty neutral and easy to drive. I think once you change to that bar you should see less understeer.
Keep in mind I have a slightly bigger wheel than most people iirc. So I need to give it more input to turn. The whole reason why I give it so much input is because it doesn't turn enough, not that its necessarily pushing.
So then whats the deal? My rack is fucked? I dont know how its possible for my rack to be a slower ratio than other PS racks. Or how it would even break.
I don't see how that is the case for steady state corners like t1. The front tires aren't scrubbing, yet look at the amount of steering I put in. I can feel the "wall" where the car starts to push steering angle wise, and im usually right below it.
Different camera angles and different drivers make different inputs, BUT the same track/corner!
Me being super timid in T10 in my car.
You, the same day as me, similar lap times, but you might have been turning in different spot.
Tom, different day but same corner and wayyyy faster than both of us Alien inputs from him a lot, as expected. He'll put big inputs to get the car on a slip, then correct and hold it.
It could be a combination of things contributing to this and not one single culprit. Fix your bump stops like E said, swap sway-bars, double-check your alignment before the next event, and go give 'er a whirl.
Just looks like the car is plowing to me, if it was more balanced / utilizing all four contact patches better that alone would require less steering input. More driving pinkies out instead of muscling it through, but I've been wrong before.

You guna be at Mid Ohio GLTC?
Bump stop/tophat spacers on order, found a new bar, may or may not check alignment before next event depending on time. No go on Mid O this year.

The car is definitely plowing. As for as my driving, I do not claim to be the best driver out there. But if there is one thing I am not, its ham fisted.
Some Frankenstein of manual gears in a power case?
I know you’re probably kidding, but this is very much impossible. The bearing spacing on the PS pinion is much wider, so there is no way a manual pinion would fit without an insane amount of custom work on the pinion.
