MiataRoadster stock height Short Throw Shifter
I think most people here with the MiataRoadster short shifter have the long / angled version.
This is for a 6-speed XMSN.
Anyone use the stock height version that would like to make comment? Even better if you have experience with both the long and stock versions.

Had one [stock shifter w/ tigged extended fulcrum] for street driving w/ nb1 6 speed and found it to be extremely notchy and tight, albeit precise. I could see drivetrain slop being unfriendly to it.
Switched to tall/angled right after and it feels like what a stock shifter should feel like, it's a bit unnatural having it so close to the steering wheel at first though.
Both cases, reverse just kinda...works...No shifter shuffle trying to leave home like stock. They both rattle like crazy if you try using a bronze bushing, fair warning, use the delrin.
