more caster?
I had an alignment done in the spring, using supermiata dual duty alignment numbers. When the car came back,he gave me the numbers I wanted for toe and camber, but he said he could not get the numbers for caster. I am trying to find the sheet he gave me ,I am pretty sure caster was around 2.7 positive on both sides. I have taken the car to one track event, but the longer I have driven it, I don't like the way it drives. Too darty ,if that is a word, I have to concentrate the whole time I am driving it, to keep it centered. I believe this is because of the low caster number. And oh yeah the car is lowered to a 4.5 pinch weld height. Is this a common problem? Any fixes say you mighty minds?

Extended lower Ball Joints allow one to hit the Camber numbers, and also have lots of Caster. I don't know if 4.5 PW is low enough to not need them, or not. May depend upon NA vs NB?
I'm at 5.5 / 5.75, with the ELBJ, Dual Duty and 4.8* Caster. NB1 with power steering.

Look at the rear-most eccentric bolts on the front. If they are not turned fully outboard, then you have more caster available. This assumes that the front-most are not fully inboard.
Does that make sense? The front-most primarily control camber, the rear-most primarily control caster.

Update; had the car aligned again, same shop, and asked him to get as much caster as he could first, THEN get me the -2.5 degrees camber. (another website suggested this). He came back with positive 6 degrees caster,(so he said ) AND my -2.5 degrees camber. Regardless the car now drives as it should have ,steering is a little heavier,, but it stays centered on the road and is easier to drive. I now like driving it, much gooder! Thanks for your input and suggestions!
