Default Name these springs...

Ok, I took a 200 lb friend and made him stand on my mystery springs, got a .75 inch deflection on the fronts and 1.5 inch for the rear. I guess that gives me about 260/130 for spring rates. They have never been on a car and came with a set of Tokico blues in a trade with a guy even older than me, from a shelf in his garage. My guess is old RB springs, those were pretty common in the day, but why all black? Anyone recognize them?
