Default NB -> NB Sport brakes. Swap L/R front lines?

I've searched around and not found a definitive answer to this. So the brake lines have this extra little tab that locks in to keep the banjo bolt from rotating. When swapping the front from NB calipers to NB sport calipers, the hole for this tab has flipped sides. Can I simply swap the left and right lines? This should make the tabs switch sides, lining up once again.

Just hold it in position while torquing down the banjo bolt, and use new crush washers.

So: New crush washers, and let the tabs get bent so the banjo bolt goes flush?

I didn't switch lines or use new crush washers. No problems in 5 years.

Did the same and until I installed TSE BBK, everything was fine...
