Default Nissan R200 Diff in mx5/miata?

I am at the point with my car where a gearbox and diff upgrade would be well worth while (433whp/323wkw and 353/479nm) I have a zf6 gearbox and have been looking the the getrag diff swap. However the caddilacs were never sold in New Zealand so it's a bit harder to obtain the diff.

There were heaps of silvias and skylines sold here so there are plenty of R200 diffs with a variety of ratios.

I've seen couple of MX5's with the R200 diffs fitted on Facebook, however one guy wouldn't reply and another didn't know anything about it as he bought the car with it already.

What it the driveshaft combination of parts to make it fit? Do facelift s14 axels just clip into the mx5 outer cv's? What's the length required?

I have measured my spare mx5 cvs/axels and it looks like the shaft is 22mm 24 spline

Thanks
Phill
