I guess I'm all in. I hope my relationship with my woman survives my relationship with my car.

I have not regreted mine in the slightest. I just stuck with the NB top hats I had on hand.

That's the setup my son has and what he talked me into ("talked" as in let me thrash his car at Thunderhill). You won't be disappointed! In the car, I mean: I have no idea how your woman will react. Although, if you have a friend who has shitty coilovers, get her a ride in that and then your car with the Xida's: "See honey - I spent the extra money so you would be comfortable..." Worth a shot.

Installed my Xidas today. Got my ride height set and now I'm playing with dampening. Holy **** those clicks are effective. I was amazed how stiff it got. Tomorrow it's off to get an alignment and next week is frame rails, derlins, and door bars. Stiff, stiffer, stiffest! And maybe new bushings all around.

I bet the shocks got stiffer with each adjustment too.

Very nice. I recently bit the bullet and ordered Xidas as well. I have door bushings, FM frame rails installed and they make a noticeable difference. I also have a pair of DIY door bars sitting in my room waiting to go on. Sounds like we are building the same car. Are you going to MRLS?

Bryan: I sure am. I'm excited about those kmiatas. Where did you find the pattern to make door bars if you don't mind me asking? I think I can make some or get a welder at work to make some for me.

I am sorry I was referring to the DIY Roadster door bars. A guy named Narek makes them in small batches. They are similar to the Hard Dog version but have a small bend in them near the seat allowing for more interior room.
