Which perches with Koni yellows on stock 1990?
I've got a set of Konis coming in the mail. I want to run them with stock springs until I've saved enough up to do everything right. I need a roll bar before that, though, so it'll probably be next spring. For now I just need to get the 20 year old stock shocks replaced.
I've gotten some conflicting advice on which spring perch to use. I'll probably use the stock top hats and some progressive bump stops from a civic.
Top, middle or bottom perch? It needs to maintain decent suspension travel 'cause the roads in Michigan are barely roads, but of course I'd love the car to be just a bit lower.
Bonus question: With stock springs and NA mounts, will I need to run a spacer to keep the shocks from bottoming before compressing the bump stops?
